(LITTLE ROCK, AR: January 25, 2016) – Stephens Inc., an independent, full service investment banking firm, today announced the hiring of Christopher Gidden as Managing Director and the Head of Aerospace and Defense within its Investment Banking Division. Mr. Gidden’s significant expertise in the sector is critical to the firm’s increasing aerospace and defense client portfolio in the U.S. and abroad.
Mr. Gidden joins Stephens from Moelis & Company where he served as Investment Banking Executive Director and Head of EMEA Aerospace & Defense. In this role, he was a key member of the firm’s global Aerospace & Defense team, and led several high profile transactions on behalf of leading European sector clients. Prior to Moelis & Company, he held a similar position with J.P. Morgan, and was a decorated U.S. Navy Commander and NCIS Special Agent with more than 20 years of Active Duty and Reserve Military service.
