Founded in 1933, Stephens Inc. is a privately held, full-service investment banking firm. The Stephens family has a corporate philosophy that leads to ongoing client relationships based on integrity and respect for accumulated capital.

A legacy of Partnership & Service

Stephens Inc. was founded in 1933 by W.R. Witt Stephens. His brother, Jack Stephens joined the firm in 1946 and served as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Stephens Inc. from 1956 to 1986. Since 1986 Warren A. Stephens, Jack's son, has served as CEO of Stephens Inc. directing the firm's strategic expansion.

In 2006, Warren Stephens acquired 100% of the outstanding stock of Stephens Inc.
