Pete Edgmon is the Director of Underwriting in the Life and Health division of Stephens Insurance. He leads the Life and Health Underwriting Group to support the company through analysis of employer benefits, including pricing projections, claims reporting and analysis, benchmarking studies, funding alternatives modeling, claim reserve estimation, competitive pricing analysis, and conceptual business reviews and presentation.
Prior to joining Stephens, Edgmon held underwriting leadership roles within the life and health insurance and brokerage industries for over 25 years focusing on risk evaluation, pricing, organizational profitability, as well as process and associate management.
Edgmon earned an MBA from Sam Houston State University and a BBA from Abilene Christian University. He is a licensed General Lines Agent in Life, Accident, Health, and HMO.
