James Clingman

Mr. Clingman rejoined Stephens Inc. in 2018 and currently serves as a Vice President in the firm’s Financial Institutions Group, with a focus on commercial banks headquartered in the Southwestern United States. His M&A advisory experience includes buy and sell-side whole-bank transactions, branch acquisitions, and 363 bankruptcy transactions, and his capital markets transaction experience includes initial public offerings and subordinated debt issuances. Prior to rejoining Stephens, he served as an Analyst at Holiday Fenoglio Fowler, a Senior Analyst at Stephens Inc., and an Analyst at Sterne Agee. Mr. Clingman graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Finance and Business Honors.
