Transaction Details
- On May 1, 2024, it was announced that MK Test Systems (“MK Test”), a global leader in testing safety critical, high voltage electrical systems, has been acquired by Halma plc (“Halma”).
- “MK Test further enhances our capabilities in electrical safety and brings new opportunities for growth, driven by increasing safety regulation and the need to protect high value assets,” said Marc Ronchetti, Group Chief Executive of Halma. He continued, “We are delighted to welcome MK Test and to support its development as it continues to scale its business globally.”
- Alex Bowden, Partner at Synova (“Synova”), noted that MK Test represents a “…strong example of our investment strategy of identifying great businesses and teams with the potential to become market leaders and driving growth through transformational change.”
- “Joining Halma means we can grow our business in key markets while helping more businesses meet increasing safety regulations and demands for test traceability,” said Jason Evans, Managing Director of MK Test.
