Philosophy & Approach

John began his career as a Stephens three-year analyst in 2015. John serves as a Financial Consultant with over 5 years of experience. He works with his partner and father, John Gay Sr. Says John, “My father and I bring a familial and multi-generational perspective to how we work with clients. We understand the dynamics that many families encounter when dealing with finances. It is our mission to understand our clients’ overarching goals and operate with them in mind each day.”

Amy Stotts is John’s client associate.

Experience & Education

John received a Bachelor in Business Administration in Accounting from Harding University, where he played on the varsity football team.

John is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is licensed and regulated by the Arkansas State Board of Accountancy. The education, experience, and testing requirements for licensure as a CPA generally include minimum college education, minimum experience levels, and successful passage of the Uniform CPA Examination.
